Renovating from abroad
You don’t need to be in Spain to renovate your home in Spain.
Stay in London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin or Stockholm while we manage your renovation on the Costa Blanca. CostaVeyra is your local point of contact throughout: we coordinate the teams, monitor progress and keep you informed.

Discuss your project
Your life stays where it is. Your renovation keeps moving.
At home you would drop by the site on your way to work. On the Costa Blanca, from another country, you need someone to do that for you — someone who knows the house, the project and the people working on it.
That is the role CostaVeyra takes. We define the project with you, then manage the renovation from start to finish: the architect and permits where needed, the contractors and specialist trades, the budget, the programme and the quality of the finish. You stay informed and in control of the decisions that matter, without having to coordinate anything yourself.
What we take care of
A fully managed renovation, designed around owners who live elsewhere.
One local point of contact
A single CostaVeyra project lead is your contact on the Costa Blanca from the first survey to the handover. You never have to chase several firms, or work out who is responsible for what.
Your language
We work in English, with German, Dutch, French and Spanish available. Technical conversations happen in your language, while the documents the town hall relies on are kept correct in Spanish.
Teams coordinated on site
Architects, contractors, installers and specialist trades are scheduled and coordinated by our project team, so the work keeps moving without you on site.
Updates you can actually follow
Regular reports with photographs, videos and a short summary of progress, budget and the next decisions. Calls whenever you need one.
Decisions from a distance
Layout, materials and budget are settled before work begins. During the works, decisions are prepared for you with clear options and taken together at planned milestones.
Everything local, handled
Keys and access, deliveries, the community of owners, neighbours and the summer works restrictions in many urbanisations — taken care of locally.
Site visits
Visit when you want to. Not because you have to.
- i.At the start. Walk the house with us so the survey, the brief and the first design conversation happen together. If you cannot travel, we do it with you on video.
- ii.When the layout is set out. Walls, openings and kitchen and bathroom positions are easier to judge standing in the room. We can stream the setting-out to you.
- iii.Choosing materials. Stone, tiles, timber and plaster look different in Mediterranean light. We prepare samples in place, or send them to you.
- iv.At handover. Walk the finished house with us in person, or let us take you through it on camera, room by room.
Staying informed
Clear updates, wherever you are.
- Regular progress reports with photographs and short videos
- A written summary of progress, budget and next decisions
- Video calls at each milestone, and whenever you need one
- Every change priced and approved in writing before it is made
Questions owners ask
Can I renovate my property in Spain while living in the UK or elsewhere?
Yes, and that is how most of our clients are expected to work. CostaVeyra manages the renovation locally as your single point of contact, coordinates the teams on site and keeps you informed with regular photo and video updates. Key decisions are taken together at planned milestones.
How often will I hear from you?
You receive regular progress updates with photographs, videos and a short summary of what has been done, what comes next and any decision we need from you. The rhythm is agreed at the start of the project, and you can call your project lead whenever you need to.
Do I need to be in Spain to sign documents or apply for permits?
Not necessarily. Many documents can be signed electronically, and many owners grant a notarised power of attorney to a lawyer for specific paperwork. Licence applications are prepared and submitted with the architect as part of the project. Confirm the legal specifics with your lawyer.
What documents will I need?
Usually your NIE (Spanish tax identification number), proof of ownership or the purchase documents, and the property’s cadastral reference. We tell you exactly what the town hall requires for your type of works.
Will everyone on the project speak English?
Your project lead does, and all communication with you is in English or your preferred language. Official documents such as licence applications are in Spanish; we explain them to you in plain English.
